We’re proud to announce that our newest office in San Leandro has officially joined the ranks of our other locations as a Certified Green Business!
That means all Red Oak Realty offices are now Green Business Certified, a milestone that reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainability, clean energy, and community values.
Since opening our San Leandro office last fall, we’ve been focused on becoming an active, engaged part of the local community. Along the way, we hosted a blood drive in June to support local healthcare needs and, in May, partnered with Paul George, CERT Program Coordinator at the Alameda County Fire Department, to help residents create a Household Emergency Plan.
These efforts reflect a core part of who we are — a company that doesn’t just work in the Bay Area, but gives back to it. This latest certification builds on the work we’ve been doing for years. You can read more about our journey here.
We’re Green
We’re the first real estate brokerage in the Bay Area to be carbon-neutral and green-certified. Why? Because we stand by our values and are committed to protecting the environment and supporting our communities.
Being Green Business Certified is about more than reducing paper use or installing LED lighting. To earn Green Business Certification, we had to meet rigorous environmental standards, including water and energy efficiency, waste reduction, pollution prevention, and green purchasing. It’s not just a checklist — it’s a reflection of how we operate every day. It’s about living our values and creating spaces where sustainability, safety, and community can thrive. From our original Green Business recognition to becoming a carbon-neutral company, we’ve always believed that real estate can — and should — be run with care for the community.
We’re honored to celebrate this milestone and grateful to everyone who has welcomed us into the San Leandro community. And while we’ll proudly display our certificate and window decals, what truly matters is the work we continue to do behind the scenes.
