Get to Know Me

Demetrius is a proud East Bay native. Raised in the heart of Berkeley, he is a graduate of both Berkeley High School (Go Jackets!) and UC Berkeley Law (Go Bears!).

With a legal background in negotiation, contracts and real property, he advises and advocates on his clients’ behalf. What’s more, his decades of local expertise are put to work when helping his clients find their dream home or list their home for sale. A home is as much about a neighborhood’s culture, amenities and vibe as it is about the house itself.

Before attending law school, Demetrius spent his summers working in construction and project managing for his dad, a local contractor. He not only learned the ins and outs of remodeling bathrooms, kitchens and foundations, but also developed a keen eye for quickly evaluating properties and recognizing the upgrades that can have the greatest impact on a home’s value.

Prior to becoming a real estate agent, Demetrius was an entrepreneur in the hospitality sector , founding, designing and operating numerous restaurants and bars throughout Oakland and San Francisco. He was a co-founder of Vintage415, an events and marketing company that received numerous awards for its contributions to San Francisco hospitality and nightlife. Aside from Berkeley where he grew up, Demetrius has lived throughout the East Bay including Oakland, El Cerrito, Emeryville and Richmond. He currently lives in El Cerrito with his wife, daughter and two dogs.
