The median price for a home in the Bay Area is currently at $880,000. In one of the most expensive and competitive markets in the country, the Bay Area home buyer has to be tough and ready. Who are these determined and sophisticated people risking repeated rejection and making bid after bid, shooting the moon on price, and frequently waiving their contingencies? It’s not easy to find reliable statistics for every town, but the National Association of Realtors, the Zillow Group and others have done focused surveys and research on the question (see the graphic below).
The more we as Realtors know about home buyers, the better we can tailor our marketing to those who are most likely to be interested in your home. If you would like to know more about how our marketing strategy can help you achieve the highest value for your property, please contact us.
