I have always had a love for old homes, decorating, and interesting architecture. As a hobby, my husband and I would go to open houses, get ideas, and then incorporate those ideas into either the home we lived in, or in whatever project/house we were working on.
For almost 20 years I have been lucky to call my hobby my career. I got my real estate license in 2005 when the youngest of my 5 children was getting ready to enter school. In my years in the business, I have seen some of the best and worst times in real estate history, and my career has thrived in both circumstances. I have a work ethic that is second to none, and a keen understanding that real estate is personal and local.
Community is critical to my success. I have lived in North San Leandro in the Broadmoor neighborhood for 20 years, and then moved just a few blocks away into Estudillo Estates when we downsized in 2019. Whether with my children, or just volunteering, I have been involved in city and school sports (San Leandro Little League, Floresta Baseball, San Leandro Crusaders Football). As a business person I sponsor and support many local school groups such as the Roosevelt Elementary School PTA/Dad’s Club and Assumption Catholic School’s annual auctions, festivals, and Beautification Days; I have partnered with SLED (San Leandro Education Foundation) to promote the great work they do for our schools; have helped Davis Street Family Resource center with the holiday toy and food drive; organized many neighborhood block parties and movie nights; and participated in Leadership San Leandro. The network I have created through these avenues makes me better able to sell your home!
Professionally, I understand that a real estate professional should be a trusted advisor in many areas. The relationships I have made through my extensive involvement in the community have allowed me to be able to offer resources to my clients that are not readily available to others. Whether it is decorating ideas, referrals for tradespeople or others, or a detailed look at market trends and conditions, I am able to steer you in the right direction.
I have overseen over 320 successful transactions valued at over $270M, and my listings sell an average of 9% over list in an average of just 9 days. I am ranked among the top 10 agents in the Central County area by both number of homes sold and dollar volume.
I have a vested interest in what happens where I work because it is also where I live! I love to talk to buyers about our fabulous community, and I will always listen to my sellers so that I understand their priorities. I have owned several older homes, so I understand the special nuances of them, and can help both buyers and sellers navigate that territory.
I am a member of the California Association of REALTORS® (CAR), National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), and the Bay East Association of REALTORS®, where I have earned sales achievement awards every year. I look forward to a “neighborly” conversation with you to discuss your real estate needs.
