Get to Know Me

I love the East Bay, and my desire to be out and about interacting with people in my local neighborhoods is what prompted me to leave behind the practice of law and pursue real estate.

After being a litigator at Morrison & Foerster, and then staying home with my kids, the move to real estate has been a great one. I’ve found that helping people who live here — or want to live here — navigate the complexities of our housing market is a challenging, varied, and rewarding way to spend my days.

I grew up in Chicago, went to high school in New Hampshire (Phillips Exeter Academy), college in Massachusetts (Harvard), back to Chicago for law school (Northwestern), and did a year-long judicial clerkship in Phoenix. But ever since putting down roots in the Crocker Highlands neighborhood in Oakland 25 years ago, I can’t imagine living anywhere else. It has been a fun, diverse, and vibrant place and to raise our three kids, and along the way I’ve volunteered in support of their schools, Oakland Strokes youth rowing, North Oakland/South Oakland Little League, the Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir, and the Oakland Running Festival. I have spent countless hours walking and running around Lake Merritt and in the surrounding neighborhoods, and I’m a die-hard Oakland Athletics fan.

When you work with a Realtor, you should feel at home:  comfortable with the process and excited about the end result. I’m patient, highly organized, great at listening, experienced with contracts and negotiations, and thoroughly engaged with my community. I strive to provide the best possible service by guiding buyers and sellers every step of the way, helping them make informed decisions, offering resources and advice, and minimizing their stress.

I look forward to working with you here in the East Bay!
