Get to Know Me

I value honesty, integrity, straightforward communication, teaching and learning, humor and kindness. Working with clients is a collaborative process. I'm an agent who works for your goals, not mine. Your objectives are my priority.

My Specialties

Berkeley, El Cerrito, Oakland, Albany, First-time home buyers

I appreciate clients who know what they want, but I also truly enjoy helping the first-time buyer or seller who needs guidance and perhaps some hand-holding. For many, buying or selling a home will be the single largest investment of their lives. I want to assure you that your sale or purchase will be accomplished with excellence, and with your best interests at heart. We will strategize together on how to best achieve your home buying or selling goals.

I track the market and property trends, and view new properties weekly on our local brokers' tours. It's critical to me that you get the best value for your home, whether buying or selling. The Bay Area is incredibly diverse in so many ways, including home values. Micro markets do exist, and I can help you to understand and analyze areas and pricing.

I can advise you on finding the best resources, such as mortgage brokers, title companies, inspectors, stagers, handypersons, haulers, gardeners, plumbers, and electricians. Clients are invited to call me for any recommendations long after close of escrow. I hope to have a long-lasting relationship with all of my clients, many of whom are now friends.

My past experience includes teaching elementary school and college classes, Director of Development for a start-up tech company, and Educational Software Trainer. My education includes a B.A in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley, a Masters in Communications Management from the Annenberg School for Communications, at USC in Los Angeles, and a Masters in Education from the University of New Haven, in New Haven, Connecticut. Lastly and happily, I'm a Berkeley homeowner.
