We were working with an agent who kept discouraging us, saying we couldn't afford to buy in Oakland and our pre-approval wasn't enough since we didn't have 20% to put down. She was not just an agent but also like a big sister who cares to help find a place that I can call a home. September 2018, I walked into an open house and I immediately felt that I want to put an offer to the condo. Mark was a big help to our family in buying a home in the Bay Area during a complicated relocation from the Midwest. He is knowledgeable about the region and its real-estate practices, always available and super responsive, and overall just a pleasure to deal with.
