Get to Know Me

Jeff is an East Bay Native who spent his youth in the family home in the Laurel District of Oakland, then graduated from UC Davis and earned a Masters Degree in Ethics from the Franciscan School of Theology in Berkeley, part of the Graduate Theological Union.

Since 2002, Jeff has been helping his clients buy and sell homes in the Bay Area and beyond. While not a licensed contractor, Jeff has been working on houses since his youth and brings extensive knowledge about house systems to every transaction. Jeff enjoys working with first time home buyers and seasoned veterans as well. He also is quite experienced with transactions involving commercial real estate, particularly flex/industrial space.

Affectionately dubbed the “hardest working real estate agent I know” by one of his many repeat clients, Jeff prides himself on always holding his listings open himself, and always giving his clients private tours of properties which interest them.

Jeff lives in the historic Broadmoor district of San Leandro with his wife and son, in a Craftsman home built by John Peppin in 1914. While not a Greene and Greene or a Julia Morgan, John Peppin built many homes in the Broadmoor neighborhood, in Maxwell Park, and in Trestle Glenn. Jeff has extensive experience in the restoration of historic homes and knows of craftsmen who can bring these homes back to their original magnificence. When he’s not restoring his home, he may be restoring a vintage Packard automobile from the 1930s. He is an authority on these automobiles and a judge at the Pebble Beach Concours.
