Greg Novak received his Real Estate license in 2005. His introduction to Red Oak Realty (then Marvin Gardens Real Estate) began while he and his wife Maryann were looking to purchase their first home during the height of the market in 2004. After a discouraging process of putting high offers in on home after home getting outbid, he was introduced to Red Oak through a friend. Because of Red Oak’s effort, within a short time he closed on his home in Oakland’s historic Sheffield Village neighborhood.
Due to his positive experience with Red Oak Realty as a client, Greg’s first thought when he became a NAR member was to work in one of their vibrant offices. Prior to working as a NAR member, he worked in property management, having managed hundreds of apartments and condominiums in the East Bay. Greg is also a real estate investor having purchased and rehabilitated numerous homes around the East Bay, turning each into profitable investment properties.
Greg believes that choosing the right NAR member is the most important decision a potential home seller will make. As a NAR member, Greg knows the diligence, patience and creativity required to be successful in the competitive Bay Area real estate market. Greg enjoys guiding his clients through what can at times seem to be a daunting process, requiring an objective financial analysis measured against the sacred concept of “home.” Greg’s goal is to compassionately guide his clients through the selling process, and to help make it rewarding and fun with his steady, seasoned leadership.
My goal is to get you the highest and best offer for your home, in the shortest amount of time.
Greg grew up in the east bay, and after graduating from college in San Francisco, has lived most of his adult life here. A longtime Oakland/San Leandro resident, he has been very involved as a volunteer for various organizations such as being the Board President of the Sheffield Village Homeowner’s Association, and as a member of the Community Policing Advisory Board for the City of Oakland. He volunteers his time at many local community organizations such as
The Oakland Heritage Alliance, Habitat for Humanity and
Children’s Fairyland to list a few. Greg volunteers time every summer as a camp counselor for
Camp del Corazon, a non-profit camp for children with heart disease. He has a passion for historic renovation, is a musician and theater buff. When not holding open houses, you will likely find him running one of the numerous trails in the East Bay hills.
