Get to Know Me

The real estate process can be stressful. I want to help you enjoy the experience as much as possible. As a careful listener, I work very hard to help my clients identify and realize their specific real estate goals.

In addition to owning and managing rental properties in the East Bay, I've also renovated and sold several personal homes in area. I've learned a lot about property management and home construction, and I have extensive experience in landscape design. I'm happy to share my knowledge with my clients.

As an agent, I'm comfortable getting my hands dirty, crawling under a house or getting on the roof. I can supply great references for any work that needs doing and I'm happy to help organize the project.

I moved to San Francisco at the age of 13 and promptly fell in love with the city. After studying Art History at UCSC, I moved to the East Bay in order to pursue a master's degree in Landscape Architecture at UC Berkeley. I worked for 15 years in landscape design on many large residential and institutional projects.

Currently I live in Berkeley with my wife and our two children. We're East Bay converts and feel very lucky to be raising them in such a great community. I still love garden design and native plants — you'll likely find me hanging around in a local plant nursery in my spare time.
