Daniel Garner believes that to "be local" means someone lives in the area, is able to walk down the street and witness changes year after year; someone who knows all of the unique spots with the best views and the secret walkways. Daniel was born and raised in the Berkeley-Albany area and attended the Albany schools. Growing up in Albany gave him the opportunity to experience everything Berkeley has to offer. Daniel is grateful to remain in the East Bay, and especially appreciates the diversity here. He couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
In 2011, Daniel recognized an opportunity and bought a rental property in Oakley. Purchasing his first income property ignited a passion for real estate as he began to experience its potential for growth. Daniel went on to get his real estate license while living on Kauai for a year as his wife pursued a teaching position.
Since moving back from Kauai, Daniel has committed himself to researching and understanding the different areas and homes of the East Bay in order to help his clients. Whether looking at the beautiful Victorians or charming cottages the East Bay has to offer, Daniel's goal is to help all of his clients find their ideal home. He would like to think that he will be just as excited as they are to find their dream home. When not meeting with clients and showing homes, you can find him with his wife and their dog (an Australian Shepherd) walking around Berkeley or over at Point Isabel. Daniel is an open book, if you have any questions or would like to receive some local insight, don't hesitate to ask!
