Our Story
Elena and Cherie met through their love of the arts and community.
Elena grew up in theater and eventually landed in philanthropy. She ran organizations and funding programs for countywide and regional arts organizations in New Orleans, Atlanta, West Palm Beach and Oakland. She worked with stakeholders, teachers and school administrators, as well as local, state and national government and foundations.
Cherie performed as a professional dancer, traveling around the country performing and teaching. She is also an award winning filmmaker. Having taught dance and yoga for most of her adult life, she founded UpSwing Aerial Dance Company in Berkeley in 2006. She has produced, presented and marketed events, classes, and workshops.
The story of how they got into real estate stems from their own experience of buying a home and then selling it one day over two years later; they found the process exciting and fun. They were lucky to connect with professional realtors who helped them enjoy the experience and encouraged them to pursue real estate as a profession.
