7502 Fairmount Avenue,It’s a huge statement of trust when clients choose to work with an agent multiple times. Recently I was contacted by a client 12 years after his second transaction. Within 5 weeks of the first contact, now part of a young family, he and his wife and delicious daughter are the new owners of a wonderful home. Helping them achieve their dream had me dancing with joy! Some of my clients remind of the age their first child was when they purchased their home, 2 months, or not quite walking and now 8 or 12 with a sibling racing around. How is it that children grow so fast?
My entrance into real estate began with renovating Victorian houses in San Francisco. I made gingerbread and worked on a scaffolding, I re-sashed windows and refinished floors and although I don’t do that anymore, knowing how helps me explain what is possible to my clients. I moved to New York working through roller coaster markets, you want your Realtor to have a long perspective to help guide you.
In 2001, I purchased a 1918 Craftsman house in Albany. Since then, I have been helping others buy and sell their unique East Bay properties for over 20 years.
I work primarily in Albany, Berkeley, North Oakland, El Cerrito, Kensington and Richmond. That said, I’ve helped clients find and purchase their homes in Lafayette and San Rafael as well. I grew up in the Bay Area and I’m very familiar with what each area offers.
I have to say the East Bay has wonderful houses. There are amazing gardens, the best grocery stores anywhere, cultural and artistic diversity, and a down-to-earth community feel. Although I’ve lived in other wonderful places, this East Bay really does have it all.
